Beer and Wines Guide

Introduction

Have you ever wondered what all those different kinds of beer, drinks and wines sold in Runescape do? Have you ever pondered what would happen if you actually drink something a NPC gives you? Look at the drunken dwarf, for example....obviously he's been drinking SOMETHING to make him wander around giving away beer and kebabs.

Have you ever asked yourself if you'll turn into a frog if you drink a Greenman's Ale? Or a dwarf if you drink a Dwarven Stout? Well wonder no more. This guide lists all the different kinds of beer and wine available in Runescape, and tells you what the effect will be if you drink it.

Beers and Wines

The mentioned stat effect will depend on your skill set before you drink the beer, wine or spirit. For example, you may find that your magic level increases by 3 levels when you drink a Wizard's Mind Bomb, while your friend's level increases only 2 levels! This is because for certain drinks (not all), the increases or decreases to your levels are based on a percentage of your original levels, instead of the same fixed increase or decrease for all players. We have therefore included the *average* increase/decrease in the table, and drinks that can result in a variable effect based on your original levels are clearly identified. The amount of life points (LP) that each drink heals, as well as prices and pictures are included in the table below.

If you're wondering about the various gnome cocktails you can make, take a look at our Gnome Cuisine guide. It includes instructions on how to make gnome cocktails like the Blurberry Special and the Wizard Blizzard. Don't those sound delicious? Mmmmmm....just the thing to cool off after a long, hot summer's day chasing dragons and fighting off those nasty giants and ogres...So take a minute and check it out.

Please note that beers/wines in grey shaded rows are members only items and cannot be made, used or bought in F2P.
