Starting in Al Kharid

Prince Ali Rescue

  • From the Runescape site: Prince Ali of Al Kharid is being held captive by the Lady Keli. If you think you're up to a daring rescue mission then go to Al Kharid and talk to Chancellor Hassan. This is a long quest with many parts! Many thanks to Rab for the many hours he spent creating it, and to Paul for configuring it for use in the game.

  • Start - First go to Al Kharid and talk to the King in the palace. He'll send you to his manager, Osman.
    Talk with Osman, and he tells you that someone has kidnapped the Prince and he wants you to rescue him. If you ask him, he will tell you all the ingredients for the quest:
    • Rope -- You can buy rope from Ned, or bring him 4 balls of wool (you'll need this for Lady Keli)
    • Wig -- You can bring Ned 3 or 4 balls of wool and he will make a wig.
    • Yellow Dye -- For this, you need two onions which you can find in the farm near the Windmill.
    • Red Berries -- You can find berries near Darkwizards in the Wood near the Stone Henge. (For Prince's makeup)
    • Water -- Find Jag in the town and get his water or get from a fountain or sink with a bucket. (For Prince's makeup)
    • Flour -- See the Bread Task for instructions on obtaining flour. (For Prince's makeup)
    • Ashes -- Make ashes by lighting a fire and letting it burn down. Scarecrows reports that ashes can also be found on the top floor of Draynor Manor, next to the machine. See the Find Edgar quest for further info. (For Prince's makeup)
    • Pink Skirt -- Buy in the Varrock clothing store. Scarecrows reports that you can find a Pink Skirt also in the slums of Varrock. (See the shops page for location)
    • 3 Beers -- To get the bodyguard drunk. Find it in Barbarian Village or buy at a bar in Varrock or elsewhere.
    • Clay -- For making a key for the jail (to make it soft, add water).
    • Bronze Bar -- For making a key for the jail.
  • Next go to the Village west of Lumbridge or south of Draynor Manor. There is a new Jail there with Prince in it. Near the jail, you will find a daughter of Osman. She is a spy. She will tell you how to use the tools you've collected. Behind this little Village, you will find a Witch. She will make you a yellow dye and makeup. In the Village, you will also find Ned the Seaman, who will make you the rope and wig. The daughter of Osman will tell you about the key that you need to open the jail and rescue the Prince.
  • Talk with Lady Keli (she is in the jail ) and ask her if you can see the key. You will automatically take an imprint. Go back to the King of Osman in Al Kharid and give him the clay with print of the key. He will tell you that you need to go back to Leela (his daughter). She gives you a Bronze Key for the Jail.
  • Talk one more time with Leela. She tells you that the guard needs 3 beers. Now you
    can go and rescue the Prince. The prince needs to disguise himself in the wig, skirt and make-up.
  • Go into the jail, talk to the Lady Keli's bodyguard, and give him 3 beers. Next use the rope on Lady Keli and go into the Jail with the key. Talk with the Prince and come back to Al Kharid for your reward.

Reward: 700gp, 3 quest points

Starting at Draynor Manor

Ernest the Chicken

Difficulty level: Medium

Talk with Veronica near the manor gates. She will ask you to find Ernest. Ernest is out of luck! The mad scientist transformed him into a chicken. To help him get back you need to bring scientist some parts of machine, which gremlins hid all around manor. Highlight the text below for a reported solution for the oil can puzzle.

  • Pressure Gauge
    • Hint 1 location --It is located in the fountain in house garden.
    • Hint 2 -- And you cannot get it easy because of some Piranhas which like to live there. Go to second floor and get Fish Food.
    • Hint 3 -- Poisoned Fish food. Go in manor Kitchen (where witch spawn) and get poison. Use poison on fish food to make Poisoned Fish Food. Use it on Fountain and Search the fountain.
  • Rubber tubing
    • Hint 1 Location -- is closed in closet but you need to find a key. Skeleton will not attack.
    • Hint 2 -- You need Shovel. And one can be found in the exit room.
    • Hint 3 -- Go in garden and find a pile of compost, Use shovel on it to get Key of closet
  • Oil Can
    • Hint -- you need to manage 6 switches and 8 doors in the basement, remember that all data is saved individually and if you see someone pass a door that don't mean you can pass a same door too. You will need to use some switches twice.

Starting at Farm northwest of Lumbridge Castle

Sheep Shearer

  • The farmer asks you to delivery 20 wool yarn balls to him, and refers darkly to some thing that ate the sheep. You have to find a tool you can use to gather wool, and then take the wool somewhere so you can spin it into yarn.
  • Highlight the SPOILER below for more details:
  • Get 20 wool yarns to the farmer. Use shears on sheep, with this raw wool go to the Lumbridge castle tower or barbarian village to make wool on spinning wheel.

Reward: 60gp, 1 quest point, crafting skill (+1[level 1-2])

Starting at Lumbridge Castle

Cooks Assistant

  • In this quest, you gather ingredients for the chef at Lumbridge Castle
  • Highlight the SPOILER below for more details:
  • Talk to the cook in kitchen. He requests three items: An egg, a bucket of milk, and some flour.
    • The egg is in the chicken farm to the north - east of Lumbridge.
    • Milk: Use a bucket on a cow to get milk. Bucket you can buy in General Shop or find in Chicken Farm house
    • Flour: Go to the windmill with wheat from one of the fields (near the egg farm) and bring one POT with you. At the top of the windmill is
      a hopper. Use the wheat on the hopper, then operate the hopper. Go downstairs and use the pot on the flour.
    • Take all three ingredients to the chef and talk to him to finish the quest.

Reward: 1 quest point, cooking skill (+3[level 1-4]) and you have access to range in Lumbridge castle kitchen (additional cooking skill bonus when cooking there)

Tree Gnome Village

Start: Brings at south west Ardougne Monastery where you find the Maze. (Members Only)

  • Items needed: Axe for cutting wood
  • Part one: Talk to the gnome named Elkoy and work your way through the maze until you find a fence with loose panels. Push the panels and go and talk to Bolren. He will tell you the problem and teleport you to the beginning of the maze.
  • Battlefield: Go to the battlefield and find Commander Montai. Talk to him and give him 6 logs. Talk to him again and he will tell you to find his 3 Trackers.
  • The Trackers: There are three of them and you will find them at the stronghold. Talk to all three and then go back to Commander Montai.
  • How to fire the ballista: Tracker 1 tells you height 4, tracker 2 tells you Y coordinate 5 and tracker 3 tells you 3. The correct order to enter the numbers are 4,3,5. The ballista will fire and will tell you that you scored a hit.
  • First Orb: Go to the stronghold and climb the wall. Inside the tower there is the orb. Go back to maze and talk to Elkoy again. He will teleport you to gnome village. When there go talk to Bolren and he will tell you about Khazard men who stole two orbs.
  • Khazard Warlord: Go back to the battlefield and head north, past the stronghold, until yo come to the very end of the battlefield. There you will find Khazard Warlord lvl 100 and he you must kill to receive the two orbs. He drops them after you killed him.
  • Claiming your reward: Go back to Elboy and he will teleport you to the village again. Talk Bolren and he begins a ceremony.
  • Reward: 2 quests points ,about 15k attack exp, Gnome amulet of Protection and can talk to spirit tree and teleport.

    Digsite Quest by Taurk

    Difficulty level: Medium. (Members Only)

    Requirements:You need at least lv. 25 thieving , 10 agility and 10 herblaw

    Start: East of Varrock there will be a path heading south, follow it until you come along a gate. Go into the gate and go into the building ahead. Talk to the Examiner to start the quest.

    *Examiner: After talking with the examiner you will need to go get a signed recommendation from the curator in the Varrock Museum. Before you leave the building search the cupboard and bookcase to get the rockpick and chemistry book Keep both of these. Now go to the Varrock Museum and talk tot he curator and ask him to sign your recommendation. After this, while you're in Varrock find or buy some boots and gloves. While in Varrock grab a tender box, rope, an empty vial, a pestle and mortar(can be bought in Taverly in the herblaw shop), and a sleeping bag. On your way back to the Digsite there should be a tea salesman near the East gate, buy a cup of tea from him. Return to the Digsite and give the recommendation to the Examiner.

    *Rock Samples: If you take the Exam now, no matter what answer you pick you will always be wrong. To learn the correct answers you must go to the digsite, which is north of the building you are in. Once in the digsite talk to all three of the students and ask him to help you with your test. Each will ask you to return their lost rock sample. The first rock sample can be found by pickpocketing the Workmen (lv 25 required) in the digsite until you find a rocksample. The second rock sample can be found in a bush outside the the digsite by the large Urn. Search all the bushes till you find it. The last rock sample is in the river. Go back to the digsite, pickup a panning tray in the large tent and go talk to the Panning Guide. If you ask him if you can pan in the river he tells you he is thirsty, give him the tea and he will let you pan in the river. Continue to pan all of the spots you can reach from that side of the river until you find the last rock sample. Hand over the rocks to the students and they will tell you teh correct answers, remember them.

    *Exams: Using the answers the student's told you complete the exam and recieve your level 1 certificate. For the second and third level exam simply go ask each of the student's the answers again and they will tell you the answers you need. Although, in the questions for the 3rd exam the female student will ask you for an Opal. Pan in the river in different locations until you find the Opal, then return to her for the answer. After getting all of your exam certificates, take them to the curator. You now have access to dig in any level digging areas.

    *Talisman of Zaros: Now go to any level 3 digsite and dig until you find a "Talisman of Zaros" bring this item to the digging expert and use it on him. He will now allow you to go down into the northern winch by giving you a letter, give it to any of the workmen.

    *Explosive compound: Pickpocket a workman until you have 2 more ropes, and go down the northern winch into the mine shaft. In the back of the mineshaft will be a workman, constantly beg him for the key until he finally gives in. When leaving the mine shaft, head north and you will find some sacks, search them untily you find a specimen jar. While digging or using the specimen jar on the dirt piles near the tent, you will find charcoal. Use the charcoal with your pestle and mortar to grind it into ground up charcoal. Now open the chest in the tent with the key and take the Undefined powder. Now use some of your tools on one of the barrels with the red X on it until one of the tools opens it. Then get the liquid from the barrel and it should be in your vial. It is undefined liquid. Go back down the southern winch and grab an Arcenia Root. Now take all of this to the digging expert back at the building to the south. Use the undefined powder and liquid with him to discover that the powder is Ammonium Nitrate and the liquid is Nitroglycerin. Put the Ammonium Nitrate into the vial with the Nitroglycerin, then add the Arcenia Root and ground up charcoal to produce the Explosive Compound.

    *Underground altar: Go back to the Digsite and enter the Northern winch again. You will notice the bricks are still blocking the way, but this time
    pour the Explosive Compound on the bricks by using it ont he bricks. Now use the tinderbox witht he bricks to light it. This will clear the bricks out of the way. There will be some skeletons inside that are level 21. Go past the skeletons and in the middle of the room pick
    up the stone tablet.


    *Zamorak The Imposter: Take the tablet back tot he expert and he will tell you a nice little story and reward you.

    Reward: 2 quest points, herblaw exp, mining exp, 2 gold bars.

    Murder Mystery by Taurk

    Difficulty Level: Easy-Medium - (Members Only)

    Requirements: Pot

    Start: North-NorthEast of the Camelot Castle you will find the mansion, talk to one of the guards to start the quest.

    *Evidence: In order to solve this mystery you will need to search the house and find the following. Fly paper, in the North-West corner of the estate in the Gardener's shack. Murder Scene pot, in the small room on the East side of the 1st floor. Silver dagger, at the murder scene on the ground. Anna's Silver Necklace, in a barrel in the mid-west section of the 1st floor. Bob's Silver Teacup, in a barrel in the Southwest room. Elizabeth's Silver Needle, in a barrel on the top-west room on the 2nd floor. Frank's Silver Pot, in a barrel mid-west room of the 2nd floor. David's Silver Book, in a barrel mid-east room on the 2nd floor. Carrol's Silver Bottle, in a barrel north-east room ont he 2nd floor. Thread, found in the north-east corner of the state below the dog's cage. Investigate the window to find it.

    *Poison: Directly south of the mansion on the path to the mansion will be the Poison sells man. Talk to him and ask him about the poison he sold to the mansion and ask him who he sold it to. After you get all the info from him you need, go question all of the Sinclair family members about why they needed the poison. After you talk to all of the servants and family about the poison, investigate the following areas.Outside: water fountain, family crest, drain, compost heap, beehive(south-west corner). 2nd floor: Spider webs. After investigating everything you will find out that the compost heap didn't have poison used on it and that was Anna's allibi. Talk to the guard and tlel him you know who it was, after telling him why he will tell you he needs mor evidence.

    *Fingerprints: Take 7 Fly traps with you and go into the kitchen, search the barrel and take the flour. Use flour on all of the Silver Evidence.
    Next use the fly traps on the floured items to get the fingerprings. Use some flour on the silver dagger to get the murderer's fingerprints and compare all of the fingerprints to the murderer's fingerprints. After finding a match talk to the guard again and tell him about it.


    *Thread: The guard will still tell you that you need more evidence, so talk to him again and show him the green thread you found on the window. It is the same color as random person pants, and the guard will praise you for helping them solve the mystery!

    Reward: 3 quest points, 2000gp, one craft point

    Dwarf Cannon Written by The Pure12 ( Members only)

    Start point: Coal trucks, west of McGrubors' Woods
    Difficulty Level: Low
    Requirments: None

    Start: Speak to the Dwarf Commander he will tell he needs a extra pair of hands to fix the fence to stop the golbins.
    Rewards: 1 quest point, Ability to buy a dwarf cannon for 750k (warrant included, if the cannon is ever lost or stolen your able to get a new one free of charge). Ability to make cannon balls with steel bars level 30 smithing required.

    Repair fence: Once you talk to the Dwarf Commander take the railing rods with you and search the fence around the coal mines to fix the broken rails and keep doing until you use all the rods up.

    Corpse: Next, talk to the commander again and go south to find a wooden watch tower, which is west of the fishing guild. Go up the ladder, and pick up the dwarf remains that respawn there.

    Boy: Once again go back to the commander and talk to him. He will tell you to find a boy that was captured by the goblins. Next, walk by the side of the fishing guild and follow the goblins tracks which will lead you to a cave. Go into the cave and you should see some goblins, rats and a couple of bats. Take the middle passage to the end. You should end up in a room with many goblins and crates on the sides of the cave walls. Search the crates until you find the boy.

    Enginer: Go talk to the commander again and he will tell you to visit the engineer. He is located on Ice Mountain by the black knights fortress. To get inside the fence enter the house and open the door.Talk to the engineer and he will give you a note and a mold, take them and go back to the commander and you will be finished with the quest.
