You also get up to 10 big presents per day, determined by the number of snowballs divided by 5 rounded up (i.e., 7 big presents for 31 snowballs). You could trade Santa's Head Elf to swap snowballs for coins at a rate of approximately 10K coins per snowball for some time after the end of the holiday event.
