Introduction

For the month of May (3rd of May until the 13th of June) Meg has started her own detective agency to help find the people and possessions that are disappearing. There are a total of 30 cases to solve with a new case becoming available each day. If you miss a day you can complete the case the following day along with that days case.

Megs Cases

Each day you can help Meg solve a new case. You can complete a case as they become available or wait until the last day and complete them in one go. Different cases requires different set of skills, from finding lost pets to items to people.

Case 1 - Clive's Runaway Rabbit Reward: Small XP lamp

  • Talk to Clive in Varrock Palace.
  • Clive said Bouncy loved to chew on the books in the library. I should start my search there.
  • Bouncy was eating a book on carrots, and he left a trail back toward Clive. I should look for clues near Clive's room.
  • Bouncy was nibbling at Sir Prysin's toes. He kicked Bouncy who fled in the direction of the throne room. I should investigate rooms near there.
  • There are signs of Bouncy knocking plates off the tables. He probably passed through here.
  • Bouncy was in the larder. I should take him back to Clive.

  • Talk to Clive in Varrock Palace.
  • Search the north-west bookcase of the Library.
  • Talk to Sir Prysin, he is found in his room south of Clive.
  • Go to the throne room on the east side of the palace and first inspect the standard in the south-west of the room and then inspect the table in the room to the north.
  • Enter the kitchen and search the larder to find Bouncy.
  • Return Bouncy to Clive.

  • Thessalia says she didn't see the robber. She mentioned that all the lights in the room went out and she hid. I should search her shop for clues.
  • I found a gouge on the wall about head height. It looks like it was made by some sort of talon. I should report back to Meg on what I found.

  • Investigate the outside of the house leading up to the landing of the window.
  • I found some fibres in the tree outside of Ned's house. I should return to Ned.

  • Luthas reported that almost half of his banana trees have been picked overnight, and the bananas are nowhere to be found. I should check the plantation.
  • The only trees without bananas are those closest to the jetty. I found some fibres in the jetty's fence. I should report to Luthas.

  • Dommik last saw Sally while mining north of Al Kharid. He's adamant she has been kidnapped. I should investigate everything I can in the area for clues.
  • There are a lot of pincer marks on the rocks near where Dommik was working. Maybe the scorpions will have some clues.
  • A scorpion was carrying Sally to its nest! I should return her (it?) it Dommik.

  • I found a note, but no soap. I should tell Tegid
  • Tegid has made sure nobody has been near the bag, and he insists I look again.
  • The soap magically returned. I should tell Tegid he's not crazy.

  • The Makeover Mgae told me his/her sheep has gone missing in the night, but he/she didn't hear anything. I should talk to Iconis to see if he heard something.
  • Iconis told me he heard splashing and creaking, then the hihghwayman attacking someone, then a whack and a thud. He felt sorry for the highwayman's victim, I should look for clues around the scene.
  • I found a clue. I should look for some more.
  • I found a second clue. There is probably more to find before I can draw conclusions.
  • I found all three clues! I should return to the Makeover Mage to explain what happened.

  • The sheep all seemed perfectly fine, not even a plany was harmed. I should ask Roddeck what to do next.

  • I have confronted the culprit, a man called Jed or the Iron Link, on his ship near north-east Karamja. At first he denied any wrongdoing, but his talking to me caused his prisoners to call for help. With Zambo's help, we made him flee and freed all the prisoners. I should check on them.

  • I spoke to a Grand Exchange clerk, they recalled seeing something fly over the Grand Exchange and Varrock Palace. I should ask people at the other side of the palace.
  • I spoke to Father Lawrence, a hatchet was stuck in his roof. I should take it back to Hari.

  • It turns out the weird-looking wobbly people were zombies, and they had his sleeping bag. I should return it to him.

  • I stole the thrice-stolen runes from Lowe. I should return them to Hild.

Player Owned Ports bonus

From the 4th of May until the 2nd of June Player Owned Ports will also receive a bonus.

  • Ability to run 25 standard player-owned ports voyages per day (instead of the usual 15).
  • +30% normal Resources and Trade Goods.
  • Surula special voyage available on Saturday and Sundays, as well as on Thursdays as per usual.

Rewards

Completing each case will reward you with a small XP lamp and after the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, and 30th case solved, you are rewarded with a small xp lamp and a second reward.
