Leon d'Cour may be fought as part of the Champions' Challenge Minigame after defeating 10 of the 13 lower champions; there is no 'human champion scroll' to be obtained beforehand. He will challenge players in the Champions' Guild arena immediately after 10 champions have been defeated.

The rules of the fight prohibit the use of armour and items present in the inventory.

492 Slayer and Constitution experience is awarded for defeating this champion, and the player is given Leon d'Cour's seat as the Human Champion of Champions. A banner proclaiming victory over the champion serves as an additional reward following the champion's defeat.

The music track, 'Victory is Mine', is unlocked upon entering the arena during a champion's challenge fight.
