Habitat This monster can be found within the spirit realm. To reach it, you must use the invisible portal located in the courtyard of the Dark Warriors' Fortress (level 15 Wilderness).

You need to wear Jennica's ring and have completed the Summer's End quest in order to use the portal.

Notes One needs full black armour/elite black armour + weapon + shield/off-hand (or armour + black 2h) to attack it, otherwise "You raise your weapon to attack the wraith, but for some strange reason you find yourself physically unable to go through it." Salve Amulet works on this monster. Must have completed Summer's End quest to access this monster.

The Wraith is only able to be attacked while wearing all the pieces of the armour. However once you start attacking the wraith you cannot change your weapon or clothes until it is dead. A message "You can't get yourself to change equipment in the presence of the angry wraith" appears. Also, you will not throw your last throwing knife, so if you are using knives and run out, you will be stuck unable to change weapons.

This monster counts towards Ghost slayer tasks. If you are using Melee, note that you cannot use a Black Mask or Slayer Helmet. Therefore, a Salve Amulet(e) is your best option.

If you have a Ghostspeak amulet equipped, the tormented wraith will say the following:

I can feel them closing in.
I must have my vengeance.
I will not rest until every black knight is dead.
Bring me the dark warriors or suffer my displeasure.
The stench of Kinshra still lingers in my wounds.
Coward! Hiding behind your false gods!
You shall die for what you did to me!
Your dark prayers will not keep you safe forever!
Accept your punishment, weakling!
Zamorak cannot save you from my wrath!

This monster gives 4.5 Prayer XP when killed if you have an Ectoplasmator in your inventory.

It is currently not possible to attack the wraith with a black crossbow and black bolts, despite these items being black in nature.
