Correction:

Notes	The Hobgoblin Geomancer attacks using melee and magic. It can also use stat lowering spells. Occasionally, it will attempt to bind you and then try to teleport either towards you or away from you, depending on your combat style. It also sometimes uses a special magic attack which temporarily disables your prayers when it hits. If this attack strikes you while you have a prayer active, some of the boss' lifepoints will be restored. This special attack also drains your prayer to 0. The boss is weak against melee attacks, specifically stab. However, since it will frequently bind you, you may prefer using magic or ranged attacks against it. The Hobgoblin Geomancer plays a major role in the story Daemonheim Asunder, found in the lore section of the Knowledge Base.
Correction:
Smuggler's Notes	The Hobgoblin Geomancer is a powerful hobgoblin. He carries a spear and conjures various spells. He also has the ability to temporarily sever your link to the gods. Aside from disabling your prayers, he'll sometimes snare you to the spot, so carrying a ranged weapon might be an advantage.
