Examine	A dark behemoth that feeds on hope.
Correction:

Notes	The hope devourer fights using melee attacks. It sometimes uses a stronger melee attack which knocks you away and lowers your defence, and it will trample you if you stand underneath it. When it roars, it will perform a special attack which causes damage to and temporarily disables prayers of those players who had a protection prayer active. If it successfully damages players, some of the boss' lifepoints will be restored. The boss also emits an aura of hopelessness, which causes your stats to be slowly drained. You can snare this boss by using the ring of kinship's blaster customisation. As such, using magic against him is a good choice. Keep in mind that you'll need some potions to counter the stat drain. If you don't bring any potions, you might suddenly find yourself unable to cast your spell of choice!

Smuggler's Notes	The hope devourers feed on faith and fill all with despair. If you see it growl, it would be wise to show that you are not relying on your hope, turning off prayers before he sucks the power from you.
