Habitat	Encountered at the end of Carnillean Rising as level 130. After the end of Carnillean Rising you have a chance to fight the Cave Wolf Matriarch once again at level 140, after accepting a business proposal from Claus the Chef. She and her pups have respawned in their cave.

Correction:

During the quest, you distract this monster from Philipe so he can kill it. It is not necessary to attack the level 130 version and its attacks are very easy to avoid. It has two attacks: a magic attack the looks like a purple ball and a typeless attack in the form of rocks falling from the ceiling. Both can be avoided easily by running around the area. Using protect from magic or hiding behind crates is not recommended as it will cause it to focus on Philipe.

After the quest, the Cave Wolf Matriach attacks with magic, melee and a typeless attack in the form of rocks falling from the ceiling. Praying against melee or magic will cause her to attack with the other. The typeless attack can be avoided with great difficulty by running to the edges of the cave. She is a significantly larger threat than her pups; you can pick up the cave wolf matriarch skull after killing her and leave without dealing with the pups.
