TzTok-Jad will attack using all three combat styles. Staying at a distance will prevent it from using melee attacks, and actively switching between magic and ranged protection prayers will protect you from those two attack styles as well. As such, using magic or ranged against this monster is the safest way to defeat it. Please see our Fight Caves Guide for more detailed information on how to deal with this menace.

When you defeat TzTok-Jad, you will be rewarded with a fire cape and 16,064 Tokkul.

* This marks the max melee hit of Jad. Its magic and ranged attacks can easily hit over 4000's.
