Examine A gift from Philipe.
Location This can be obtained by tracking down Philipe after Carnillean Rising. Talking to his father, Ceril Carnillean, will reveal where Philipe is. For each new location, there is a Quest Point requirement in order to find him. If you do not meet the QP requirement, Ceril will not be able to tell you where he is. You do not need to visit Ceril for the locations after the first is revealed.

Uses Each time you find Philipe, he will give you a lamp as a gift. The lamp will give you in the skill of your choice, as long as it is above a minimum level. The amount of XP increases each time you find him, though he will not appear at his next location until you have used any prior lamps.
Notes Philipe's locations, lamp gifts and quest point requirements are as follows:
  1. At the Combat Training Camp north of Ardougne. The lamp gives 2,000 XP in any skill over level 30. (50 QP required)
  2. At the base of the path leading to the Mountain Camp east of Rellekka. The lamp gives 5,000 XP in any skill over level 40. (100 QP required)
  3. On the top floor of the Parameya Inn in the northern end of Shilo Village. You must purchase a dorm ticket from Kaleb Paramaya on the first floor (second floor for US) in order to get to the top floor. The lamp gives 5,000 XP in any skill over level 40. (150 QP required)
  4. In the Port Phasmatys Green Ghost Tavern. The lamp gives 10,000 XP in any skill over level 55. (200 QP required)
  5. In the bottom floor of the Polypore Dungeon, next to the Ramokee skinweaver. The skinweaver is located in the central portion of the bottom floor at the southern end. The lamp gives 10,000 XP in any skill over level 55.(250 QP required)
  6. In Oldak's laboratory in Dorgesh-Kaan. The lamp gives 10,000 XP in any skill over level 55.(300 QP required)
  7. In the machine room in the Piscatoris Fishing Colony. The lamp gives 10,000 XP in any skill over level 55.
  8. At the southern gate of Prifddinas. The lamp gives 10,000 XP in any skill over level 55.(400 QP required - currently unobtainable)
