Field Original Correction
Name Dwarven chainaxe
Examine A powered-up prototype dwarven tool that aids with Woodcutting.
Location Won as a reward from Treasure Hunter from 17th April 2015 through 20th April 2015.
Made by
Used in
Uses One of several dwarven tools winnable from Treasure Hunter:

  • dwarven fish extractors (Fishing)
  • dwarven ramhammers (Mining)
  • dwarven chainaxes (Woodcutting)

Once withdrawn, the tools can be activated and used to gain either double XP and no resources or double resources and no xp. They will act as the highest tool in that skill you meet the requirements for, i.e. Crystal pickaxe if you have 71+ Mining, even if you do not own one. There is also a unique skilling animation played whilst using them.
Notes This is powered-up from the inactive version of the tool. If you already have an active tool, using each subsequent inactive one adds 100 charges onto it. Each charge is good for one action, i.e. mining one iron ore.
