There are a variety of ways the crackers can be obtained:
- Completing a Daily Challenge and speaking to the Quartermaster in Burthorpe.
- Completing a Bird and the Beast challenge and speaking to the Quartermaster in Burthorpe.
- Through doing any skilling or combat activity that has a chance of a spin ticket.
- Completing daily cryptic clues that were released between 20th December and the 24th December, 2013.
- Falador Drop Parties at 2am and 8pm GMT every day have 200 crackers up for grabs.
- Events planned by the Community Management team.
- Competitions held by various JMods, primarily through their Twitter accounts.

| Use them on another player to receive 1,000 bonus experience in a random skill (for both participants) and the owner of the cracker will get one of the following rewards:

The crackers are only obtainable from the 20th December, 2013 to the 3rd January, 2014. Shortly after this time, all remaining crackers will be removed from the game. |
