Arghh as Visolela is still on hollidays and i overhelmed with additional RL life job news are little lacking on updates but today i added some.

Runescape Finaly have a 1st smith able to make Iron Plate with smithing skill 64 !! nobody dont have more so don't let somone try to run you over.

Welcome all to the redesigned Runescape Tips !!

At start of open Beta i created this site as first runescape Fan site and as then i was one of the best smiths it was mainly about smithing with ton of info i get. Later Visolela joined a web team adding still more info. But as Runescape is becomming more and more popular number of visitors superated all i ever think, and now we have over 4000 page viewes a day, and over 650 visitors a day.

So only way to keep this site up is to put some banners in and hope you will click sometimes on them ;-), but as i personaly hate banners i modified some quality design from Kai Azreal that he was preparing for AC Tips site. Don't forget to go in our Forums and send him a Personal message for it ;-)

So here is result, probably there is still some "little" bugs hiden around so if you have any problem or see anything out of order please email us at "Runecsape Tips" Web Crew.

17th-Mar - This weeks update

I've just uploaded this weeks update. I was really hoping to get a lot of interesting new features added this week, but due to a worrying amount of attempted cheating and password stealing I've had to spent most my time programming the system to detect and stop that instead.The players who continually try to break the rules are merely depriving themselves and everyone else of more interesting improvements. This weeks updates are:

• Added a button to email forgotten/stolen passwords back to their owner


• Made changing your password eaiser (there is a new option in the config menu)


• Added timeout to conversations - to prevent people blocking shops


• Added code to detect which players are attempting to break the rules

Luckily whilst I was busy doing this Paul had time to add a cook's guild which you can only enter if your cooking skill is 32 or better. Cooking has also been improved with a wider choice of things to make. (You can now make a variety of different pies.)

VS_KoMa send this nice picture of gems ... only hour later Andrew say this was bug and you cannot get them anymore But im waiting to see them soon as part of crafting skills update.

I was mining my Coal as i use to at the rocks west of varrok, when i suddenly got an uncut emerald insted of coal?? Strange...

when the new quest was introduced i couldnt enter into the Champions Guild, but after i did finish it i found out the other prize you get if you finish the quest... There are Black Legs available to be bought on the 2nd floor... hope this info is helpful and not just repeating what someone else has already told you from

Dmonik have offered to mine some ore for me ;-) but he make a mistake and take on wrong rock. Sight i cant smelt mithril, and by the way I dont have a 60.000 to pay for it ;-)

We've received a lot of good suggestions, a lot of which we are planning to add to the game. In particular the following changes are planned next:

-Modify the trade window to display the names of items to prevent unfair trading.
-A lot more spells are still due to be added to the magic system.
-Proper support for clans, with a full system to allow people to join and create clans.
-A 'duel' feature. Challenge your rivals to a duel, with the risks and rewards set as you like.
-More skills such as fishing, and fletching.
-A friends list to indicate which of your friends are online, and allow easy communication.
-And of course more quests, more monsters, and more areas of map.
