We've added all kinds of new information to the Slayer Guide, including information on the new creatures and equipment. And, with the addition of Pet Fish to the game, we've revamped our Cat & Kitten Care Guide. We've changed the name to Pet Care Guide, and we've added everything you need to know about raising Pet Fish.

The quest guide for the new Rum Deal quest is now available! As usual, feedback is welcome. Please submit any corrections or comments here. We have also updated our Herblore Guide to include the new Saradomin Brew. Finally, I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome bambino to the Tip.It Crew. As in long tradition Runescape is updated today with new "Halloween" event and to make it easier for you to follow it, and as we have seen that new forum server is keeping quite good with actual load we decided to give all registered users ability to comment on news articles posted there, we hope that this will make your look for new information faster and motivate more people to share knowledge with the community :)

Hello fellow RuneScapers. Just a quick note to let you know that the Tip.it Events team will be taking a break for the month of November to regroup and set up for an awesome December. So you won't be seeing any events from the Events Team in November, except for a drop party on the 5th. See you all in December, and remember to bring on the fun!

In the meantime, keep an eye out for the big drop party announcement on the General Board in our forums.

Hello everyone, we hope you're all enjoying our super-duper speedy new server! Lots of things to tell you about, so I'll keep it brief. First, we have updated the Cooking Guide to take into account the new dairy items and baked potatoes, and most of the Skill Calculators have been revamped to allow you to display only F2P items in addition to all items. Enjoy!

Finally, this week's edition of the Tip.It Times is now available for your reading pleasure. This week, we are proud to present an article by guest author sligo. The Tip.It Forums are now running off our brand new server and many of our users are already enjoying the improved performance. However, not everyone will be able to access the forums for another 48 hours until the DNS servers are resolved.

We apologise for this inconvenience but everything should be working properly by Thursday morning GMT time and everyone will have access to the new forum server. Thank you for bearing with us during this transition period.

As per our Announcement earlier today, the Tip.it forums are undergoing a server move to a nice shiny new box which should speed things up nicely.

In order to do this, we have to have some downtime, and that is effective as of now.

This *should* only affect us for approximately 2 hours (possibly less), with possibly some minor outages following that to fine-tune things.

Please note - this also means that the above Forum News links won't work (for obvious reasons) until the new server is up and running.

Please bear with us during this short down-time, and look forward to the nice performance of the new box ;)

After discussions with Jagex, it has been agreed that it is rather useless for only 2 sites to be with-holding this Guide whilst others have them published... so... have at it and enjoy !
