Weekly Hot Topic »

Hi folks. When we started the Weekly Hot Topic back in October, the first topic we selected was hugely popular. As a matter of fact, as we've mentioned before, so many of you visited that very first topic, our servers couldn't handle the load. We're now in our third week of the newly resurrected Weekly Hot Topic, and we thought it would be fun to feature the same topic that we did in our very first Weekly Hot Topic back in October. It's a topic that's been getting non-stop attention for over a year now...the creation of a new RuneScape bank!

So please take moment to stop by and read through some of the suggestions, opinions and comments - maybe you'll even want to leave some comments of your own! The Weekly Hot Topic can be found here. Thanks to Tip.It Community member Lordofrah1 for suggesting that we feature this popular topic once again!

Monday, monday... »

Monday once again, time for a new poll. This week's topic comes to you courtesy of Tip.It Community member Dragonwizerd -- we'd like to know how many of our users are members, how many are non-members, how many of you used to be members, and so on. Please take a moment to let us know.

In other news, I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome our two newest crewbies, oddfaery2 and Hugh_Mannity! I'm sure you recognize both names -- oddfaery2 was a crew member some time back, and has recently joined us for another ride on the Crew Train, and Hugh_Mannity was part of the Forum Moderator team up until last week. So on behalf of the entire Tip.It Crew, welcome guys!

Poll & Updates »

Hi all. Time for the weekly poll…this week, we’d like to know how many of you still play RuneScape Classic. We are still maintaining the RuneScape Classic section of the original Tip.It website on our servers, but I’m afraid we haven’t updated the guides and other tools it contains in some time now. Before we dedicate any of our valuable resources to bringing this section of the site up to date, we need to determine if there actually is a need for it. The results of this poll will help us decide that. So please vote, we need your input.

In other news, we’ve also got a number of updates to announce. First, we have added ferrets and rabbits to our Hunter Calculator and Hunter Planner, and we have also updated some of the xp values. Our Firemaking guide has been updated to include information on using the Balloon Transport system, and our Getting Around guide has been updated to inlcude, among other things, information on Balloon Transport and spotty and spottier capes.

Have a good week, everyone!

Be vewy, vewy qwiet...our Editor's out hunting wabbits and he's almost weady to share his views, thoughts and comments on the wecently weleased Hunter Skill. Until then, the Tip.It Times is happy to present a guest piece by Tip.It Community member Dracion1. So please take a moment to give Missing: RuneScape, Reward: $10,000 a read. While we're on the subject of the Tip.It Times, have you ever thought of writing a guest piece for the Times? Our Editor is very busy, and the effort it takes to write a fresh new article each and every week can sometimes take its toll. So when the Editor needs a little break, or the planned article just isn't quite ready, we like to publish guest articles by you, the members of the Tip.It Community. So if you think you have what it takes to write an article for the Times, please visit this forum sticky for more information.

Eagles' Peak Quest Guide! »

Well now, that was a long break without any news, wasn't it, lol? Weekly Hot Topic & more! »

Hello everyone. Back in mid-October, we introduced a fun new feature called the Weekly Hot Topic. Unfortunately, so many of you visited the very first topic, that it caused unexpected strain on our poor old servers and resulted in the feature being pulled temporarily. I'm happy to announce that since we've moved to our brand new servers, we've found that the response and speed has improved so much, we can now bring back this weekly feature!

This week's Hot Topic, which can be found here, is something that's been getting lots of attention lately. Many Tip.It Community members have been trying to figure out the identity of our mysterious Tip.It Times Editor for some time now, and funny thing, nobody's really come close to getting it right...yet! Why don't you try to venture a guess?

We hope you like this new feature, which will appear here each and every Wednesday -- please share your comments about it here. We aren't accepting user suggestions for the weekly Weekly Hot Topic just yet, but we might open it up to your submissions in the near future...so be sure to watch this space!

In other news, I'd like to point out a nifty new addition to our Quest Guides page. You now have the option of marking all the quests on the page in one fell swoop, intead of marking the quests you've already completed one by one. The new "Mark All / Unmark all" box at the bottom of the page will be very useful for those of you who have completed more quests than not. Simply mark all quests, then unmark those few you haven't done one by one. Much, much faster than the other way 'round! Thanks to Tip.It Community member number1short for the suggestion.

Enjoy the new features, and until next time, happy scaping!

Will you use Menaphos to train your skills?
