|You need level 72 Slayer to harm this monster. It drops Crimson charms more often than other charms.
Use an Elemental shield or a Dragonfire shield (not an Anti-dragon shield or an Antifire potion!), otherwise it will continuously hit you in the 500s. They can also freeze you - you can't move or attack while frozen, though you can eat or teleport.
Using any shield obtained from the Elemental Workshop quest series will also work in place of the Elemental shield. If you are using a Dragonfire shield, the Skeletal Wyvern's ice breath will charge it like regular dragonfire would.
Despite the classification of Dragon, Dragon Slayer Gloves from the Fist of Guthix minigame will have no effect on this monster.
*The unpolished skeletal wyvern tail-bone is a special bone, which drops after completion of the Fur 'n' Seek quest. You can't bury this bone.
