Because the Tree is located on Entrana, you go to the cavern unarmed and without any armour. Once you enter the cavern, kill the level 25 zombies until you get a bronze hatchet drop. Then proceed to the tree. When you first try to chop it a level 101 Tree spirit will appear and you must fight it. One way to defeat it is to turn on protect from melee and drink a prayer potion until it is dead. Another way is to range it from behind some mushrooms which block it. Once it dies, you can cut a branch from the Tree. |
