| This item is found chapter-by-chapter during the quest The Firemaker's Curse. It will only gain its ability after completing the quest, and it can be re-obtained by speaking to Char in her training cave south of Eagle's Peak and west of the Gnome Stronghold. |
| Once a day this book can unleash the power of Char for about 2 minutes. During this time any logs that you walk upon will instantly be turned to ash and you will get roughly double the normal firemaking XP for that log. Once per day this book will allow you to teleport to Char's training cave. |

In addition to its uses it describes the life of Char, and it shows image clues pertaining to the puzzles of the Firemaker's Curse. Can be found on a Player Owned House bookcase after the quest as The Book of Char.
