| It will follow behind you when you take it out of your pack. If allowed to follow you around, in about one to two hours with proper care it will eventually grow up to be a pet cat. Can be used to compete in the Rat Pits Minigame. Will chase rats to earn a medal from Gertrude, but its catch rate is very low. Can be turned into a hell-kitten by chasing hellrats if you've done that part of Recipe for Disaster quest. |
If you die, you will lose your kitten. If you do not feed it or pay attention to it, it will run away. If you do not like the colour kitten Gertrude gives you, you can shoo it away and get another. Alternatively, wearing a Ring of charos(a) will allow you to charm Gertrude and let you choose your kitten's colour.
Cannot be taken into most Minigames and some areas (see guide). You cannot get a new pet kitten while you own a kitten or cat. |
