Lots of small improvements

Andrew has fixed the kill stealing problem, the treasure now goes to whoever damaged the monster most overall rather than the person who got the last hit. XP is split proportionally between all people who helped kill the monster.

Teleport spells no longer work once you reach level-20 wilderness or beyond. This makes the deep part of the wilderness dangerous even for high level players.

People who are green on your friends list also appear as green dots on the mini-map, making it easier to find them in the game, and easier to go adventuring with a group of friends.

Your players overall combat level is now shown on the stats menu.

2 more items banks have been added to reduce the crowding problems. One is in east Varrock, and the other is in Draynor Village.

Update of the month !!!

Finally thanks to hard work of Bluerose13x and Dmonik we have full rune smithing table.
BTW CONGRATZ on 85 smithing Rose !!!!

    Lol i don't resisted and I jump personaly in exploration of wilderness (that is reason why site is not updated so fast) and here are some results..

  • Hobgoblin Mine by Viikate guarded by 15 hobgoblins are 4 adamantite, 13 mithril, 10 coal and 4 iron rocks.

  • Skeleton Coal mine by Silverion 26 coal rocks short run NW from "Edgeville ex Ghost town"

  • Lava Labirint by Silverion also noted location of fabulus rune rocks (85 mining needed)

    - get the Muddy key from the Chaos Dwarfs.
    you reach the place and u have to go through a maze u need a hatchet or axe to cut webs
    first u have bk's in the beginning then king scorpions then giants (reg) then you have to fight lesser demons and use key from chaos dwarf to open chest.

    I have just discovered fire monks! they are level 44, but do not wear any robes, i can't remember what they look like, because someone attacked me, i had to teleport. They can be found in the ruined village at the west side of the map, roughly lvl20-lvl26 wilderness
    There is also an anvil in wilderness, in the village, lvl 22, as far west as u can go, behind a giant spiders web.
    NOTE: this is first sign of fire monks anyone else have seen them? anvil is confirmed by Rodriges

    Of course I updated again ton of other things like

    - Beastiary - added Death Timing formula to get experience from any monster of player updated chaos dwarf drop table.
    - Shops updated jewelery shop, champion guild new info, fishing shop and gem shop info (lol still too much empty things here)
    - Magic added missing spell, corrected one formula
    - Smithing tables (Bronze, Iron, Steel)

    After experience is finally visible there is TON of things i need to update and also im using this update to correct all other info that is outdated lol.

  • BIG update to our fabulus smithing tables and smithing guide as i added experience gain to all tables as at last further to my calculations 1 bar experience = 12.5 * metal difficulty and it go grom bronze =1, iron 2, steel 3, mithril 4, adamite 5, rune 6

    Ok i get this time to update site a bit so i added 3 new maps to atlas section until we all wait that somone make a wildernes Map ;-).

  • Beastiary - added new monsters, wilderness diff. locations for them and some drops like a GREAT RUNITE HELM.

  • Places i will rename this page soon in maps or locations lol but until then I added new map from Poro - mining guild, and also Isle and Demon cave maps I posted in news long time ago, but never added them to atlas section.

  • Smith Guide here i added experience that you will get from mining different ores thanks to Lotta Might and also i added more Rune ore info thanks to Ezarc

    Other wilderness info i got in meantime ..

  • Rune ore is around lv 46 wilderness
  • There is spawn point for Chaos runes guarded by 2 Moss giants !!
  • There is spawn point for Nature runes on isle (one spot is 4 and oher 3 runes you need telecinetic grab to get them) thanks to Jurai_Knight & Madzozs
  • Cosmic rune spawn point is in the northwest corner. It is protected by ice giants and warriors. You can easily sneak by though at last Skrimzo say so ..

    WHOW this update ROCK !!!! As you all probably know by now wilderness is covering all north side of the map its area is full of treasures and there is many surprises hiden in, but lets see latest reports !!

  • Fastest and most complete report come from Monitorman
    Here's what's new, in no particular
    order:

    1) - Exp meter: move your mouse over a skill and it shows the number of points you have as compared to the number you need to level.
    2) - Additions to ghost town: There is now a branch of the bank of Varrock in the ghost town as well as a general store.
    3) - There's a new house between ghost town and the monastery, with an old man named Oziach inside. He only talks about what a fine day it is right now, but my suspicion would be that he is somehow involved in the upcoming dragon quest.
    4) - Wilderness: The most massive part of the update, my personal estimate would be that this roughly doubles the size of the map... As you enter for the first time, a warning is displayed describing the dangerous nature of the wilderness. In the bottom right, as shown in the RS.com screenshots, a skull is displayed to indicate being in the wilderness and a possible target for PKing. Beneath it, the level of the wilderness that you are in is displayed. As you progress northward, the level goes up. The very end of the wilderness is lvl
    48.

  • NOTE: The level indicator in the bottom right tells you the level difference that you can fight with (i.e. if you're lvl 43 and you're at lvl-16 of the wilderness, you could attack a lvl-27 player, or be attacked by a lvl-59 player).

    In the wilderness, there are a variety of new things.

    I've seen two new creatures so far: Chaos Dwarf (lvl-59) and Greater Demon (lvl-87). Some new things to look at are giant bones from dead animals, fungus on the ground, broken furniture, and half-burned houses.

    All throughout the map, various treasure are scattered, from body runes and little piles of coins to earth staffs and various and sundry new runes. I was able to explore a portion of the right-hand side of the map before I was attacked by a chaos dwarf and forced to
    teleport out (this answers a question running rampant on the boards: you CAN teleport out of the wilderness).

    I got further the next time, to the very end, where I was PKed by a high-level player. I kept my 3 best items, as is standard when you die in the game (that answered another nagging question on the boards - you hold onto your stuff as normal). However, I don't know if people with skulls over their head lose all items when killed. The "skull-over-head" system is still in place for sure, though, because i saw people with this marking... Although I haven't visited the left side of the wilderness yet, I"m told there is an ice giant mountain there... On an unrelated note, someone claims
    to have seen Andrew and that he is lvl-103....

    - There's at least one graveyard in the wilderness. Finding a plank and using it with a grave allows you to rob it.
    Take note that this is second-hand info, however. I didn't see this myself, I was told by a friend...
  • Lotta Might was first that used new exp to get us ore exp gains !!

    I have take some time and noted the experience values for each ore. I believe there's still a bug about this, as it wouldn't show the pts. gained until I logged out and back in again. Perhaps in a future bug fix, we can see our exp. levels grow as we pick.

    Anyways, I have listed all the ores, starting with least to most, experience points given. All, except for runite. :(

    clay = 5 pts.
    copper = 17 pts.
    tin = 18 pts.
    iron = 35 pts.
    silver = 40 pts.
    coal = 50 pts.
    gold = 65 pts.
    mithril = 80 pts.
    adamantite = 95 pts.




  • Laguna Loire noted that there is also new Miners Guild which is located in Falador south near ex-player houses and you will need lv. 60 mining to enter it. There is entrance leading to Mine with 22 coal rocks and 2 mithril rocks in there and Poro already get a map of it !! Miner guild mine extends into Dwarven Mines further to BLuhbluh1212
  • In wildernes is a castle with a BIG golden chest to loot it you need a key which is probably droped from some monsters in wilderness.

    Wow that is innacurate. Are you sure it was us you were talking too?

    The update I'd guess will be coming out Approximately Monday (Note the word Approximatley here).

    It will include the wilderness and xp bar and none of the other things you have mentioned. (though may include one or two smaller things you haven't mentioned)

    The wilderness won't be particularily like you described and certainly won't include horse riding.

    We may get the duelling system done by that update, I wouldn't be to suprised if we didn't though. It won't be an arena based duelling system though.

    Yep The rune plate will be obtainable by doing the dragon quest though you'll have to pay a bit of money as well.

    The dragon wuest was going to be done for this coming update, but then we reprioritised things so that the wilderness will be finished first instead.

    Andrew has announced today, that they nearly finshed the Wilderness System.
    There will be a huge new area which is part of an improved player-combat system which was first proposed a few months ago.
    In the improved system player fighting is only allowed in the new wilderness area. The ability to switch between PK and Non-PK will be removed and instead you just go into the dangerous wilderness area if you want to fight other players, or stay within the current map area if you don't.

    Ho all I'm still out of out virtual world because of my internet problems and holidays, but I get some time to update Smiting Tables with a new Rune items and also I updated some drop info in bestiary (Lesser Demon) corrected some spelling errors all around site, updated Forums with some little speed hacks, etc. Read and processed cc. 10% from 2270 of your emails pls. understand that I cannot reply to all and other staff members are lazy on replying or get lost in hundreds of virus messages we received last days.

    The bank has been upgraded so you can now store any item in the bank not just gold. You can keep spare weapons, gems, and any other items you may want to store. You can store up to 48 different items, with a maximum limit of 16 million items per stack.

    Runite items have been added to the game! Runite is the most powerful metal in the game.You can buy rune weapons and rune armour from the champions guild. There is an extra item only available as a rare monster drop from a particularly strong monster!

    The player owned houses have now been removed. This is because since they were original planned runescape has become much more popular and there is nowhere near enough to go around. Instead the 2 updates above have been included to compensate. The item bank lets anyone store the items they want to, and the runite items are an alternative for people to spend the money they have been saving on.
