Whow finally world full of people at 1st arms we have a chance to start all-fresh. Unfortunately it is only for limited period of time. Here is what Andrew says about it on official site:

I've modified RuneScape to use a database back-end for all the logs, save-games, etc... This is part of the new customer support system we are working on, and makes it a lot easier for us to sort out problems.
Obviously to make this change I've had to alter a LOT of code. So I'm running a test server based on the new core before switching the live-version of RuneScape across.

Please note that the main RuneScape saves games are NOT available on this server, so you will need to create a new account to play on it. Also this server will be taken offline after a few days and everything done on it will be permenantly lost. Using this test server does not affect your real character in any way. It's purely for testing, and also a rare chance to play in a brand new world where everyone is equal.

Hmm today we bring you some nice updates, first thanks to Lightning as she even with all problems with board upgrade we have, get time to collect all info we received and she write a great thieving guide that I ruined it a little bit trying to insert some additional info. It is not complete and I'm sure there is wrong or missing info but as always we count that you will send us some updates soon.

Thanks to great Sparr we have a map of missing high lv wilderness with location of fire giants dungeon, rogues etc.

Members only wilderness.

Also I updated cooking guide with a new recipe, added all info you submitted for Paladin and added Forester in Monster database. Not all of this we spend all rest of time fishing updated board that look to work better even if there is still some problems, if you go on new boards and are not using Netscape I suggest that you try new theme Chronicles. It is great wood, stone and old pergament stile theme and you can change to it under user preferences.

Whow Andrew posted preview of 3d models on main site it is still not final version but we can get a glimpse of some new monsters that we will see in 2 or 3 month.

As promised here is a preview of some of the new 3d models which will be used when we update the RuneScape graphics. This is just a small sample of the total set of models we have, and as you can see as well as converting all the old graphics we are also introducing lots of new monsters at the same time.
We've developed some very good 3d model compression technology, which means that even with all the extra monsters RuneScape should load *faster* than it does at the moment once we do the update.
There's still a lot of work to be done to get an update of this size online, so it's probably at least two months away, but we'll keep you informed on how it is progressing.

As I tried to log in boards a fey moments ago I have seen that there is in curse installation of new version of board software.

This is really a big upgrade and probably there will be some problems until it is finished at end we will be able to offer you even better, more secure and better looking community tool.

Please to note that as this boards are not on our servers, it will be nice that you help even our site TIP.IT by clicking sometimes on banners when you are browsing here, as from last info I get, click rates are dropping dangerously low and for first 10 days of this month we are not covering expenses. I added many new things to content, from big maps to pictures in monsters database and more turns in Arenascape, but, it will be possible only if you are visiting sponsors banners sometimes too. I know that like me everyone is probably very annoyed with banners, popups etc., but this site don't sell anything and I'm not so rich to pay, work and lost nights for 10.000+ people that visit this site a day and do not click on banners once or even use antibanner software to eliminate only thing that keep this free site alive. It is some form of good manners on internet that you learn who you can reward with a click or two as someone is working hard to get you all what you see and as I see from traffic of 5 GB = (5.000 MB) = 8 CD discs a day use up to bottom.

Due to a certain user , we had to close the boards until tomorrow morning. (uk time)

Sorry for the problems you have been getting on the boards. This will soon all be sorted out as we updating the boards soon.

UPDATE Boards are up but they have problems. If you find any thread where at end is a message with "database connection error" please do not post in. New topics work ok for now.

Today first I added monsters we was missing, like bandit leaders Black Heather, Speedy Keith and Donny the Lad fixed and added info to bandit and new necromancer and his 34 lv zombies.

THEN I sit and added ability to reorder monster list by Name, level, race or appartenance to quest and all this ascending or descending. Also as you open database all monsters now are ordered by last modified so you can see what is changed or added last.

Go to Beast Tip our Monster Database to check all this.

Finally it is already 2 months that i have all this pics laying wasted on my hard drive but now i programmed support, renamed all files and converted them to gifs end added to Monster database, I changed all names from plural to single ( Giants --> Giant etc).

Big Big Thanks to ALL who submited Hundreds and hundreds of monster pics and offered its help in meantime and specialy to R2keen2 who organized, sorted and cleaned most of them. Big thanks go t his editing team Lord Death, Valdimar, Mob Dog are fey names i remember as i cannot get in touch with him to get complete list.

Also thanks go to who submitted pics we already have but i wish to mention herie, Smork, Bartuzz, LXIX, Seje Ringo, ArchMage,Twisted Evil, Dustinminer, Katiska, Piia Nurmi and many many others...

Now if you think you can make a better pic then this we have pls use link on bestiary page to send it. For my opinion best pic is this Gif of Spear Hobgoblin with transparent background (autor send it by MSM to me but i forget who it is), Also there is great example of R2Keen2 Dragon serie, that i wish to give you a direct link too his first Green Dragon. I gived you all this so that you know which quality we will 100% aprecite and add in Bestiary.

Of course you can find all and more info in our Monster Database that i will now fill with other info too ;-).

Quests Page is updated with credits to some of people that halped but its names get lost, I sincerly hope that there is no more. Thanks to all of them and im sorry that in this quantity of submissions we barelly get in time to read and many things get lost. Main problem is this Klen32 Virus that is geting our email from people cached web pages and use it to send itself, so only I get some 200 up to once even 1200 only virus infected emails a DAY !!

Sparr was incredibly fast and make great map again so i already updated new Ardougne zone map it have a quest start point and even more thieving locations noted.
