The forum is abuzz with players analyzing the effects of the shop update. One very popular(or Hot) topic is the discussion of various new methods of making money or leveling skills cheaply. If you have learned anything you would like to share, or would just like to see other tricks, come on over to this week's Hot topic "The Most Profitable Part Of The New Shop Update."

On Monday, the new poll was added, but I forgot the news post and the forum post. So, come over to the poll discussion, and explain your choice in this week's poll.

Finally, we need your help with the shop database... With this update, we need to update almost every shop, and we don't want it to take as long as it did before. If you want to help and submit information, go to the update topic and read over how it should be done. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Heya! We have a couple new letters to the Editor that you will be sure to enjoy. Check out Letters to the Editor #8 and join the discussion on the forum.

Also, we have updated the Pest Control guide. It has a new map of the area, some battle strategies, and more general information changes. Enjoy!

A little under four years ago, the RS2 wilderness map was added to the site. Today, we would like you to take a look at the complete do-over of it! That's right, the full wilderness map is waiting for you to check it out. A huge thanks goes to Flippi for his work on this. If there is an error, please post in the corrections topic.

Also tonight, I would like to introduce another addition to the Tip.It crew. Mchainmail has joined the team, and will be helping us with the item database.

We are glad to announce that the Ourania cave, with the Zamorak Magical Instute altar has been added to our list of dungeon maps. The world map has also been edited to show the dungeon entrance as well. Of course, the Runecrafting guide has had the altar's infomation added to it, so check it out as well.

Also, we have a large handful of other updates to a few of our guides. The magic guide has been updated to correct the experience gained for casting water blast, add the max hit for the magic dart spell, add the void knight mace to the staves section, and update the bolt enchantment table to include the required metals for each bolt.

The Mage Training Arena and the Wilderness Mage Arena guides have had typos fixed as well as more information added.

Finally, the Abyss dungeon page has been expanded with more info so you will know what to expect when you go in.

Sometimes, you learn a great fact of life doing little things. Playing RuneScape is an excellent example. Where else would you learn the all-important fact that a baguette will knock you out easier than a giant hammer made from granite... Check out this week's Hot Topic, "Things RuneScape has taught me," for more silly facts of life!

Also, the slayer guide has had an update to fix the bug that caused levels not to display properly.

This Monday, we would like to know how efficient our guides are in providing information and responding to an in-game update. To us, being 100% efficient would mean that you never have to go anywhere to get more information to help you out. 0% would of course mean that you don't use our site at all for the guides. Help us out and vote in this week's poll, and explain your answer in the discussion of the results.

Also today, we have a new tool in the item database! We've added an equipment builder that calculates your total equipment bonuses when you wear it. We're planning on adding a "commonly used" items section to it, so if you have an item suggestion for it, a bug to report, or an error in the sorting of the items, let us know in this post.

Finally, we've added the clan chat section to the Beginner's guide, as well as changed the layout of it a little bit, so check it out!

Why do you pick a game that has terrible graphics over another game that makes your bathroom mirror seem unrealistic? I'm sure everyone has heard someone make fun of RuneScape for it's limited graphics, but there is something that keeps you playing. This week, the Editor has written a short, amusing commentary on the point of playing games. After you finish reading "Realistic Games? No thanks.," be sure to join the discussion on the forums.

Hey there! We've a couple of updates that you may be interested in. First off, the Sewer Slayer Dungeon that you gain access to after the completion of The Path of Glouphrie quest is waiting in the dungeon maps for you. Also slayer related, the Slayer guide has been updated with the quest monsters as well as the monsters from the God Wars dungeon. It also has the new slayer locations added. Finally, the Mining and Smithing guides have been updated with a new "Aids" section that includes the Varrock armour rewards.

We're still trying to collect enough information to update the ranged max hits, so if you haven't posted, or you have some more ammunition, post in the discussion post.

While many people don't believe that you can build a true friendship with someone online, many others will dissagree. Sometimes, the best friends you can have, are the ones you make in a game.
