Arghh there is people who try to use even my name to get your password or to make you run programs that will steal your Runescape password. Please Do not believe anyone who is asking you to "test program", give your account to someone for test etc, we will never ask someone who we do not know very well for such help. Also remember that ANYONE can easy forge SENDER email, so do not believe in any email until you dont send it directly to us and this is replied email. hello.....i'm currently a rs player....and my rs name is xxxxxxxxx ... I was just sent an instant message from a guy name "silvorion"....and he was asking me to test a new rs calculator.
He said i'd get credit and100k for testing it....but i didn't know if he was u.....so i looked and the site...and saw that your name was spelled silverion and not silvorion......so if he is a fake i would like to let u know to warn evryone about him. If he isn't, then i"m sorry..it was a mistake :)
So this was clearly impostor trying to make this guy run his password-stealing program. and if you get contacted by anyone like this please get his IP and all info you can get and we will report it to all relevant authorities.
Here is list of some other FAKE names and emails that you have to be careful on. Look very carefully at all letters.
LightningMod, Lightning Mod , Mod Lightning and ModLightning hit Msn and aol, also a lightnin (no g) in mirc as well roaming.
