This is really a big change in our life's i will try to explain you why Andrew was geting to such extreme move.

First as you all probably have seen Runescape popularity is exploding over any prevision I have seen it at over 6.000 players online and all this have BIG costs, that until now andrew tryed to cover from advertising. But unfortunatly as we all have seen advertising revenues are going down drasticly and his expenses go up very step. As it is now population of game is BIGGER then Asheron's Call or Everquest population for server !!! And that are paying games wich you have to BUY a game AND you PAY to PLAY what is BIG difference. Unfortunatly Andrew was unable to find a BIG enough sponsor and now only way that he have is or TO CLOSE or to go in pay for play model. If this will be sucessful he will be able to get more people to help making new lands and soon we will have much more lands and tools and from this will benefit even free version of game.

Now lets talk about polls, it looks like over 50% people like battle axes, and this is even as Rune battle axes are not availible in game for now !!
