Pollnivneach Slayer Dungeon

This dungeon is located beneath Pollnivneach in the Kharidian Desert. To stand a chance in this place you must be wearing a pair of Masked Earmuffs from Smoking Kills or a Slayer Helmet. During the quest you can only access the upper floor. However, after the quest you can access the stairs to the lower dungeon.

The entire dungeon is multi-way combat, cannons are allowed, and there is a small obelisk in the middle of the bottom floor for refilling Summoning points, making it an amazing place for Slayer assignments. You may also refill your waterskins in the underwater-springs found at both north and south ends of the main hall on the lower level. The Aberrant Spectres near the small Summoning obelisk are not aggressive, however if you wish to kill them you need a Slayer level of 60 and you MUST wear a Slayer Helmet, as you need the protection of Earmuffs, Facemask, and a Nosepeg simultaneously.

The lower dungeon has four quadrants behind barriers. You must defeat the boss monster of that section [Kurask Overlord (level 240), Mightiest Turoth (level 180), Basilisk Boss (level 240), or Monstrous Cave Crawler (level 180)] to unlock an individual quadrant containing the corresponding Slayer monster. The boss monster appears when you try to pass the barrier to that area. You only have to defeat the section boss once.

The portals found near the Kurasks, Turoths, Basilisks, and Cave Crawlers transport you to their respective monsters in the Rellekka Slayer Dungeon; the portal in the Cave Crawler section leads to Cave Crawlers in the Slayer Dungeon, the portal in the Kurask section leads to Kurasks in the Slayer Dungeon, etc. These portals are one-way only.
