The Monastery

The monastery is located in northern Asgarnia, between Ice Mountain and Edgeville. Surrounded by beautiful flower beds, fountains and a vegetable patch, the monastery is a beautiful place to feel closer to the Gods of RuneScape - the walls even have spectacular stained glass windows. Unfortunately, there is no public altar; only the devout may worship upstairs. Although the monastery itself is breathtaking, the monks live simple lives.

Those who have suffered injuries may seek healing from the resident monks - simply ask. The monastery can be easily reached from the north side of Edgeville without venturing across the wilderness wall into the wild.

The combat bracelet teleport is an easy way for members to arrive in the center courtyard near the fountains. Simply rub it and choose the Monastery as the destination. Read the combat bracelet items database entry to learn more about making and recharging it.

Upstairs, the "Prayer Guild"

You must have level 31 prayer to ascend the ladder. Players have always considered this a guild due to the entrance requirement, and by including it on the combat bracelet teleport list, Jagex has affirmed this status. Upstairs you can pray at the special altar which raises your prayer 2 points above normal, so it lasts longer. You can talk to Brother Jered and he'll bless a holy symbol for you. There's also a poisonous scorpion (part of the members Scorpion Catcher quest.) A free monk's robe set is also available for the taking.
