Troll King's Lair

These caves are accessed during the Fremennik Isles quest. As the Champion of Neitiznot, players are responsible for meeting up with the militia inside and slaying the Ice Troll King. He will not respawn after being decapitated.

The area is completely multicombat and therefore dangerous to any ill-prepared adventurer. The trolls can hit hard with both melee and range, though Yak-hide armour and a Fremennik round shield from the quest may offer some defence against ranged attacks. If cannoning the trolls for a slayer task, it is important to be wary of high damage and low drops.

The northern cave leads to north-eastern Fremennik Isles, and the eastern ladder leads to north-western Fremennik Isles. Note that after completing the quest, the cave to the north only serves as an exit.
