The Hazeel Quest
Thieves have stolen the carnillean family armour, and you are asked to recover it. This quest is a bit different because there are two very different ways of completing it! Will you side with the Hazeel Cult or with Ceril Carnillean?

Sheap Herder Quest
in which you must safely herd four plagued sheep away from the city of Ardougne before the citizens become infected! Speak to Councillor Halgrive to start this quest.

Runescape Updated today with 3 new quests.

Holy Grail quest
King arthur is sending out his knights on a quest for the famous holy grail. If you are a knight of the round table go to king arthur for further orders

Tree Gnome Village quest
Find the secret gnome village, and help them retrieve the orbs of protection which constantly protect their village from the dangers outside.

Fight Arena quest
Help Lady Servil save her family from general Kazar who has enslaved them in his fight-arena. Quest starts south-east of Ardougne beyond the monastry.

Also variety of other features including lots of new areas for the above quests, and a coal-truck track to rapidly transport coal.

I went away for a short holiday on saturday, and it seems Runescape promptly broke in my absence. It seems I can't even take 1 week a year away from running this game! I'd like to apologise for the people who have experienced connections problems over the last few days. I've decided to abort the remainder of my holiday and have come back to the office to fix RuneScape instead.
I'm currently transfering the database to a new server which is 6 times faster than the old one which should hopefully get things running smoothly again. Once again sorry things weren't working 100%. Now I'm back at work I should be able to get it working smoothly fairly quickly.

Today Runescape update fixes a large number of outstanding bugs in the game.
The following issues have been fixed:

Bug where you could teleport from the high level wilderness dungeon is fixed
Bug where iron arrows were usable on the free servers is fixed
Bug where you could get a skull for retaliating to a ranged attack is fixed
Bug where shadow spiders prevented potions from running out is fixed
Bug where arrows did not stack correctly, if multiple players shot the same target is fixed
Bug where recovery questions were occasionally reported as 'not set' is fixed
Bug where attacking another player immediately after a retreat caused a glitch is fixed
Bug where player occasionally ran in random direction after ranged kill is fixed

The next game content update should be in about 12 days where they hope to get 3 fairly large quests online. The update will also include a whole load of new areas including a jungle, a tree-top village, a massive battle field, and a huge hedge maze.

RuneScape is offline for essential maintenace, whilst we install a new back-end database system. Unfortunately this might take the rest of today, but it will enable us to offer a much improved customer support service, and to continue making further runescape improvements in the future.

this can help many less known sites to show what they can do, and also if any site have some interesting new feature you can alwas submit news to me and i will be glad to post it on main page. NO CLAN SITES Links etc unfortunatly we are geting over 40 clan messages a day from anyone forming a clan and until we don't select a dedicated staff member who wish to follow this aspect and update links i don't even read clan submissions. If you are interested for position please post in boards why you can be considered as top guy in field.

I'm sorry that there is little updates recently but I hope this wil change soon as i find a way to delete over 11.000 messages that new virus program send to us :-(.

Ahh nearly forget that our fan game Arenascape is updated with new titles, new weapons and 3 new areas with soem 30 new monsters in meantime and more is comming in, so you can check it in too.

Unfortunately everything didn't go to plan and the new system had a few unexpected problems, so they have been forced to temporarily switch back to the old system.

Jagex will spend the next week working out what went wrong and then try again, and hopefully the transition will be much more smoother next time.

First i have to ask whats up in last fey days? Visits to sponsor baners go down under 1 for every 1.100 pages shown??? Really this cannot cover expenses of server and we cannot resist it for very long time.

Now on News...

New fishing guild look like haven for fishers only problem is that you need 68 Fishing to enter there.

If you are "into" fishing (it's my favorite thing to do), you will be in absolute heaven. DO NOT BRING ANY FISHING SUPPLIES WITH YOU! You will not need them.

Enter the first house (Master Fisher is outside the entrance). There is a harpoon, lob pot and big net spawn in this house. Best of all there is a range if you want to cook.

Next to entrance house is the Fishing Store. The usual supplies are here (bait, feathers). You can also sell fish here (and yes, they BUY cooked fish - I made 6K on cooked tuna in 2 days).

Next house is the certs guys: Padrick certs seabass and sharks. Orven certs lobs and swordies.

The dock is at least double the size of the dock at Karamja! It is in the shape of a big "T". The left "arm" of the T has big net and sharks. The middle section has ONE CLICK lob fishing. The right "arm" has swordie, tuna, and of course lob (but it isn't one click here). The other part of the T is regular pole fishing.

Many players are asking to know more about famous makeover mage.

The Make-Over Mage can be found NW of the crafting guild, west from south falador gate, it is bellow the dark mages tower by lake. In order to change your appearence you will need to pay the "Make-Over Mage" 3000gps. The make over screen, in which you alter your appearence, is exactly like designing your character, when first satring the game, but excludes the choice of what type of charcter you would like to be to start the game.

There was 2 little bugs hiden in last update.

First is about cooking and here is one email we get about it

I don't know if bug or something but for some reason I can't seem to put the pastry dough in the pie pan my cooking lvl is 21 so I know that wouldn't be a problem.

As i hear Andrew is working on this right now and it wil be fixed today.

Runescape is updated today and here is repost from official site.

We've updated RuneScape and added another two members quests.
In the first quest a mysterious stranger called Lucien asks you to retrieve an artifact known as the Staff of Armadyl. Speak to him in the 'flying horse' in Ardougne.

In the second quest you must restore the clock tower south of Ardougne to working order by finding and assembling the missing parts. Talk to Brother Kojo in the clock tower.

We've also added a fishing guild west of Hemenster which requires fishing level 68 or higher to enter.

World map updated - The map has been extended to the left to show the city of Ardougne and other new members areas we have added recently.
