Very soon at last further to Tristan-Karn of RuneScape and here is his story !!

I met Andrew just yesterday at around 7 PM EST at my Picnic in the Park in Falador on Server 2. We asked a few questions and he said that one of his server CPU chips got fried and he had to shut down the JageX games like backgammon and Othello. We also found out Andrew is using some of the BEST Intel servers for us. And he took 2 days away from making his GameBoy Advance game to work on the dragon quest for runescape. He said that the Dragon Quest will come out Wednesday if everything goes as planned. The dragon actually breathes fire! He didn't tell us the level...I also got some pics of him in his full rune armor!

In meantime im working on new board and who wish to help looking for bugs can go to TIP test board of course this board will be deleted and restarted from 0 offten but im sure you will have fun once we get it ready soon. (soon is less then month but can be even more)

Andrew announced that he had new servers and was planning to move everything over. Unfortunately, nothing worked right so we are still running on the old ones. Lets wish Andrew good luck on getting this enormous task done.

Whow Sir Brandon send us news that Andrew posted link to 3 years old DeviousMUD web page. There are SS, old map and plans for a game that later will be called RUNESCAPE a very interesting to read.

Wow, I just found this on my harddisk. Runescape has only been online 8 months, but I thought you might like to see how runescape looked over 3-years ago. (I've been writing this game a long long time!) The program has been completely re-written several times since this page was originally made, and changed it's name to runescape at some point. As you can see 3-years ago it wasn't looking so great, but my persistance on the project finally paid off! The world-map is quite interesting, as you can see things have moved from their originally planned locations somewhat, but many locations still have the same names. Also the central part of the map is an aproximate mirror image of the current map!

It looks that Runescape ISP still have problems further to many emails we recived..

From KingFrogga:

... all the
servers are sporadically on- and offline, and when a server IS online, it has 278 players online without fail. When I try to connect I get an error message somewhere along the lines of "Sorry! Unable to connect. Please check your internet settings."

From fireboy18:

all 3 servers are down on runescape saying 278 players online but you can't get on and sometimes servers go offline with it saying "can't connect to server check internet connection" it has been down since 10:00am and now its 4:08pm! there is a BIG problem here

Latest news is that Andrew working on it even if we don't know if he is transfering servers to new ISP or he is calling ISP all time occupied "assistence" ..

Monitorman hit again, this time he was in chat and send us info about andrew plans on future additions to Runescape.

The most important thing in there was probably his
list of priorities. Here it is, quickly:

Major Tasks
--------------
1) Do duel system
2) Do new player alignment system
3) Fletching
4) Herblaw
5) Do player ranking pages
6) Do simple clan support

So there's the list. The only other thing he mentioned
was in response to someone's question: putting clan
insignias, etc. into the game will probably be out of
the question due to bandwith difficulties...

There is a confirmed that "Fire Monks" don't exist at last for now, there is a player called so and that is what was reported previously.

Monitormen is also reporting that all giants now drop "giant bones"

Still unconfirmed but Death Timing reported that wilderness changed !!! there is a strange ridge on lv 30 and chaos dwarfs live on it and not any more on old location.
